Programme
Day 1: Mauritius Airport - Trou d'Eau Douce
Arrival at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport and after immigration and customs formalities, you will be met by an Africa Online representative. Private transfer to the Shangri-La Le Touessrok Resort & Spa. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax and explore the surroundings. Overnight at the Shangri-La Le Touessrok Resort & Spa in a room of your choice, on a half-board basis. (hotel) (breakfast & dinner)
Day 2 - 9: Trou d’Eau Douce
A day for relaxing, swimming, sports and excursions to explore the island of Mauritius. Overnight stay at the Shangri-La Le Touessrok Resort & Spa in a double room of your choice on a half-board basis. (hotel) (breakfast & dinner)
Day 10: Trou d’Eau Douce – Mauritius Airport
After breakfast, depart from Trou d'Eau Douce with a private transfer back to Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport. End of arrangements.

Flight
The stated travel sum excludes international flights. However, we can offer you flights from all airlines affiliated with IATA BSP. Upon request, we can provide you with a quote for various airlines. Flight price indication for this trip: KLM EUR 875,- per person, including airport tax, for the Amsterdam – Mauritius – Amsterdam route.
Extension of the journey

Travel information
Visa
If you have a Dutch/Belgian passport that is valid for at least 90 days after your return from the trip, no visa is required for Mauritius. However, there must be sufficient blank pages next to each other in the passport for the necessary stamps. If you have a nationality other than Dutch or Belgian, please check with the Consulate. A visa is required for Zambia, which can be purchased at the border.
Should one not possess a valid passport and/or travel documents during the journey, the consequences for the individual concerned will be at their own expense. (subject to change). If travelling with children under 18 years of age via South Africa, you must be in possession of a copy of the birth certificate. If travelling as a single parent or alone with your minor child, you must also be in possession of a consent form from the other parent. Travel – Cancellation Insurance
It is advisable to take out cancellation insurance, and comprehensive travel insurance is also strongly recommended. If the insurance is not arranged through AfrikaOnline, please provide us with the policy numbers for both insurances, as well as the policy number and contact details of the insurer.
Meals:
Breakfast and dinner are served buffet-style at Le Bazar restaurant, with a different theme each evening (e.g., Fisherman, BBQ, India). Other restaurants are à la carte; if you choose to dine at one of these, you will receive a credit to spend.

Anyone in good health may participate in this trip.
Luggage
Mauritius is a tropical destination. Warm clothing is not necessary. If you are travelling during the winter season (June/July/August), please be aware that evenings can be cooler. For daytime, casual (beach) attire is sufficient, while in the evenings, smart casual is required, with shirts or polo shirts, long trousers, and closed shoes for gentlemen.
