Explanation of rental prices for BRITZ 4x4 vehicles with camping equipment:
The prices above are in EURO and are calculated per day. The first and last day of the rental are calculated as full days. Prices may change due to exchange rate differences and are subject to interim adjustments.

Kilometres
The minimum rental period for the Britz 4×4 with camping equipment is 5 days. All rentals include unlimited kilometres and are included in the travel price.

Manual or automatic gearbox
All 4x4 cars with camping equipment are manual.

Insurance
There are various insurance options available with different coverage levels: Standard insurance option: In case of theft or damage, you will retain an excess of R 55,000. All-risk insurance coverage option: reduces the excess to R 0, with a credit card deposit of R 5,500 (see full rental conditions for exceptions).

One way to benefits:
If you return the car to a different location than where it was picked up, you will have to pay a “one-way drop-off fee”. The cost for this drop-off fee is R 5,500 for pick-up in Johannesburg and drop-off in Cape Town, or vice versa. The drop-off fee for pick-up in Johannesburg and drop-off in Durban is R 5,500. For pick-up in Windhoek and drop-off in Johannesburg or Cape Town (or vice versa), the cost is R 7,000. Drop-off for other locations are available on request. If you pick up and return the car to the same location, there are naturally no drop-off costs.

Cross-border allowance
Driving the 4x4 vehicles is permitted in the following countries; South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Swaziland and Namibia. If you wish to cross a country border with the vehicle, a cross-border surcharge of R 1000 must be paid.

Fine:
Administration charges of R300 will be levied per instance if you receive a fine.

Damage:
In the event of a claim, administrative costs of R1500 will be charged per case.

Namibia CO2 tax:
For all rentals commencing in Windhoek, a CO2 tax of R. 750,- per vehicle is payable (this applies to all models).

Extras:
Extra set of bed linen R. 100,- per person

Baby seat £500 per rental period
Surcharge for Sundays and public holidays ZAR 550,- per rental agreement

Transfer costs on arrival and departure:
Free transfer from airport or hotel and vice versa to rental depot 0 km to 25km
Transfers from rental depot to airport or hotel 26 km to 70 km R 560 per person
