Explanation of rental prices:
The prices above are in EURO and are calculated per day. The first and last day of the rental are charged as a full day. Prices may change due to exchange rate differences and are subject to interim adjustments. The motorhomes are never older than 4 years.

Kilometres
The minimum rental period is 3 days. For rentals of 3 to 7 days, a limited number of kilometres (220 km per day) is included in the rental fee (each extra km is charged at R5,- per km). From 8 days of rental, an unlimited number of kilometres is included in the rental fee.

Automatic gearbox
The Discoverer 4 and Discoverer 6 are equipped with an automatic transmission.

Insurance
There are various insurance options available with diverse coverage choices.
Basis CDW mini-optie: In case of theft or damage, you retain an excess of R. 58,000.
Extra CDW midi option: reduces deductible to R. 24,000
Extra CDW maxi option: reduces excess to £0.00 (All incl. cover) (only possible for 8 days or more rental days)

One way to benefits:
If you return the camper to a different location than where it was collected, you will have to pay a “one-way drop-off fee”. The cost for this drop-off fee within South Africa is R. 6,100 per camper, provided it is collected and returned in either Johannesburg or Cape Town. If you collect the camper in Johannesburg/Cape Town and return it in Windhoek, the drop-off costs are R. 12,000. Drop-offs for other locations are available upon request. If you collect and return the camper to the same location, there are naturally no drop-off costs.

Cross-border allowance
Driving with the campers is permitted in the following countries; South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Lesotho, eSwatini and Namibia. If you wish to cross a country border with the camper, a cross-border fee of R 1200,- must be paid (no cross-border fee applies to Eswatini).

Fine:
Administration costs of £250 per case will be charged if you receive a fine from the R.

Namibia CO2 tax:
For all rentals commencing in Windhoek, a CO2 tax of R 600 is payable per vehicle (this applies to all models).

Extras:
Extra set of bed linen £70 per person
Extra set towels £70 per person
GPS with charger R. 45,- per day with retention of R. 1500,- excess in case of theft or damage
Gas barbecue £90 per week
Binoculars 10×50 £45 per week
Two-person tent including sleeping bags and mattresses ZAR 45 per week
Baby seat (up to 2 years) ZAR 180 per week

Arrival transfer costs:
Johannesburg airport ZAR 140 per person
Hotel in JNB within 10 km of the airport ZAR 140 per person
Cape Town Airport – Rental depot ZAR 250,- per person
Hotel in Cape Town for rent ZAR 250,- per person

Upon returning the camper at the end of your trip, you will receive a complimentary transfer to the airport from the rental depot. Prices for other transfer costs are available upon request.
